Through the generosity and vision of the Park Foundation, the Park Scholar Program in the Roy H. Park School of Communications covers full tuition and room and board at Ithaca College for a select few, outstanding students. The scholarship covers all four years, as long as students maintain high grades and a consistent record of service and leadership. As a result, the Park Scholar Program is a dynamic learning community that has developed communications leaders since 1997. Park Scholars learn to use media to inform and inspire, guided by the program’s three overarching principles: excellence in academics; commitment to service; and passion for responsible, ethical communications.Park Scholars work hard in the classroom, commit themselves to service and leadership, on and off campus, and use their passion for media to enlighten and inspire people, to transform the world — and themselves.
